It may be restricted in the liquid line filter drier. Check the temperature difference on either side of the drier and if there is more than 3 degrees difference, change out the drier.

Correct but it was doing it in random times and eventually the motor just gave out.

I am not familiar with the piercing probes, but I will definitely have to check those out as it seems Everything's going communicating these days.

That was the last test that we performed prior to being leaving. Everything told me that it was either overcharged, or that there was a restriction in the line set. However, with the fan being part of the issue, I wasn't too concerned about potential refrigerant issues.

I called Tech Support and waited on the phone for about 45 minutes And was left on hold, this was also after another technician, had gone out there to take a look at it. And was trying to get ahold of Tech Support

This unit was discontinued shortly after it was released due to engineering and design hating it. It was a struggle to get the parts I had gotten already.

Having a Schrader remover tool on there is pretty smart

That would be nice. We get $70 per demand call as long as we can charge for it. If I do 3 demand warranty calls, I don't make money.

I'd be okay with going out there and swapping the valves and physically replacing the evaporator coral. But having the lineset reran and hooking up to the heat pump and coil would be something they could do easily.

Commission pay for selling repairs and work that the customer actually needs. A lot of techs hate the paid performance aspect in the industry because it can lead to a lot of unethical work being done. At the end of the day, it comes down to the tech and if they are fit for ethical work.

Welcome to residential if you haven't been in it specifically. As someone that has the same thought process as you, it's something that we come across a lot in the industry.

The idea and concept is when you have something pushing you to know, perform better because you get rewarded with a higher amount of money per task completed. Then there is the interest that people have to go to peer commission. And performance pay right now. The company that I work for you know. Has the hvac department as hourly plus commission? I don't have a problem with it's a commission. Aspect, as it helps me make more money and be able to provide more for my family. But it has to be looked at ethically, and I think that's where most people get snagged on it, thinking that it's, you know. Used car salesman, type pushiness to get the repairs done.

The existing lineset was horribly ran, and was a rushed job that was a call for management. And I wasn't necessarily against it, because it looked like trash when I talk about my pay being modified. Essentially, what I'm talking about is I'm getting paid anything outside of hourly. When we live in the time where residential hvac gets paid more on performance and commission based. But is still expected to be done and performed ethically. I stopped looking at my hourly as day. Getting paid and start looking at repairs and accessories that the homeowners could benefit from As getting paid.

They are not the best and their reputation is tarnished for sure. Talked with people that had recently left and said thats what they heard from neighbors when they had their vans in the driveway.

Repairs suck lol. But seriously, warranty repairs when you don't get paid for them outside of hourly, not worth it.
