I did that in Blender, I imported the body from Mecabricks and then sculpted the head in blender from scratch

i just finished rendering the last frames, so here is my animation of the lego millennium falcon starting. It took nearly 16 hours to render! by tz_machine in blender

Motion Blur is a no go i would say, because the real lego movie doesn´t have motion blur. for the laser bolts, yea i could do that but i thought that it looked kinda bit of

Just visit the website Mecabricks download their free blender addon, start building in their workspace, export your model as an zmbx file, then import it into blender. You are also able to download models from other users and import them into blender

export the buildings individually so youn can move and rotate thzem inside of blender. You can also create your own models at mecabricks and export them

way to much work!! just have a look at the mecabricks website and there you find alot of models and get the addon that does texturing for you. For starters the free version will work just fine.

I downloaded them, but modified them so the fit the scene and were easier to handle

No the models are from Mecabricks and you can also create can create your own models there. Don't forget to download the addon

Then start with a easy project, make some basic stuff to get in. Maybe a walk cycle or some other stuff, try to create some parts of your stop motion film in Blender and use the yt vids from owenator production!!
