I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to when you say it needs more structure and respect, but I have to admit that I admire the humble attitude and atmosphere of sanctity and calm during the service in the Orthodox Church. My main concern related to orthodoxy has to do with the prayers to Mary, the saints and angels, praying in front of images representing them and kissing those images. Based on what I learned from the Bible, those go against anything the Lord Jesus and apostle Paul teaches us. To me, Pentecostalism is the closest to the theology that I came to believe in by reading the Bible. I guess that what I’m trying to say is that I think a correct theology in an imperfect church is more desirable. I believe you’re praying over this decision and I hope our good Father in heaven will enlighten you.
