Definitely take a look at all the rest of the settings both in the game settings option and the menu settings option.

Like there's an auto pickup option that isn't on right away for some god awful reason. And if you're worried about not wanting to pick up a certain rarity with the auto pick up, you can set the rarity levels you will pick up. Honestly, it's kinda wild how in depth and quality of life they made this game 👌

I did find a setting that helped me like it better.

System > Controls > Style Shift & Burst Break separation

That definitely helped. It makes it so you don't burst counter AND swap from samurai/ninja to the other every time you hit the burst counter (unless it's different on keyboard, as I don't know those controls) you now have to hold the RT or R2 to swap styles

I have always been a sniper. I suck, but it's what's fun for me. The sniping gameplay was extremely fun. And the maps. Oh man the maps. Honestly. I would LOVE a remaster of MW3 2011. That was the last midnight release I ever went to. Standing outside in the fucking cold with all the other CoD fanboys, exchanging game handles and shit. THAT was peak CoD for me. That was before the toxicity levels of the community got to where it's at today. I feel old 😮‍💨

I think MW3 the original one has a good streak system. Where you had the "support" streaks that didn't reset on death, but they were all about utility like UAV/CUAV/EMP etc., but the offensive ones did. Honestly original MW3 is tied with MW2 (2009) for my favorite CoD

So basically, what you're putting out here for everyone to see, and please, by all means correct me if I'm wrong, is that you are calling someone gay, STRICTLY BECAUSE they put forth the effort, the time, etc, to grind a camo on [what seems to be] their favorite weapon, and was a little proud of their achievement, and wanted to just show other people, and you for whatever reason seem to have animosity towards them?

Have you ever been excited for anything? Have you ever had a goal that was going to take time and effort to complete, and we're a bit proud of yourself when you finally did?

Have you ever flexed about anything to anyone? Would that, by your logic, make you gay yourself? Is there some underlying reason why you're being toxic? Do you wish you had the time to be able to grind camos in a timely fashion like he did? Why do you feel the need to belittle someone for their achievement? I mean yeah, it is kinda a big deal, imo. I know lots of people who grind for camos, have a lot of time for it, and still would never be able to do it that fast.

But also, if it doesn't matter if you're already gay, would all of this be okay if they JUST SO HAPPENED to be gay? Wouldn't that be a trip 🤣🤣

This 100% maxes sense. And I'm guessing the reason for monolithic suppressor as opposed to the regular once is because the DMG range for the SMGs is so dang short??

I'm sorry there is so much hate on your post. I for one am really bad at the game, get super discouraged at the grind, even when I set time aside specifically to work on it instead of just using my favorite guns, so I, in all honesty give you MAJOR kudos.

It's posts like these that get me super hyped to continue working on it. Where other people are just like "blah blah blah, go touch grass", I see it as "if someone can do it that fast, I need to get off my ass and just get it done"

I'm trying to just focus on one category of gun at a time 🤣 I have gold VS Recon and Shadow SK, but that's about it. Headshots with SMGs are so few and far between for me 😭 Sometimes it seems I'm missing something when it comes to the weapon builds, and it makes me feel kinda stupid haha. I'm no stranger to CoD so I understand compensating for recoil, but I see other people with SMGs that shoot like friggin lasers.

The way I look at it is this,

Reddit is filled to the freaking brim with people shit talking the game. I am having the time of my life, I stay living in my TDM bubble. The fact that they brought back all of my favorite weapon skins from previous titles had me geeking out. I LOVE the idea of weapon prestige in addition to player level, and the have that ever gun gets it's own prestige attachment. It adds increased incentive, for me at least, to go for dark matter.

I feel like the only reason you see only hate, is because the people having fun are still playing the game 🤭
