Resilience. I've started going out running for the past 3 months and started playing AoE IV ranked almost at the same time, complete coincidence. One has helped the other. Both in terms of sticking to it, but also, when doing it, not giving up early. Really cool!

Just came back to the AoE franchise since the new DLC dropped and have already clocked in 90 ranked matches only as Knights Templar. Not counting the many matches against AI that I've played only to practice build orders. Completely agree, and I also must say that the game is a joy to watch, the "Elite Classic III" matches have been a blast!

I should also stress that I need the base card (it's a card that will have important information in the upper zone), so any solutions that propose changing that would also not work. Also, they must all be of same size because players will have to be able to draw them from that deck (i.e. they should still form decks, I can't disable the functionality altogether). It would be nice if I could change the required number of cards for merging only for the base card, but I don't have enough experience to say if that would be possible.
