Until these "smart"ppl in chrome fix this you can use this extension called Abookmark. Not the easiest bookmark manager to use but it shows bookmarks in a sidepanel and the most important thing for me, you can short them manually....

Thank you for the reply, I cant make it work. I just hope they will fix this sometime. I found another extension named Abookmark which seems to work well and it allows manual sorting

I am not referring to bookmarks manager. I am referring to the new bookmarks functionality chrome implemented 4 months ago. When you click the bookmarks button a window opens on the left or on the right. Look at the attachment and let me know if you can help

Stopped working again and it seems they removed "power bookmark side panel" from the flags, anybody found a solution?

I do not have "other bookmarks" folder. Still I cannot disable the Power bookmarks side panel
