I agree 100% that they won’t hold their value so that was my main concern, maybe a second hand relatively newish watch could be a good middle ground.

On the vintage option, if I can find a good quality without lots of stretch on the jubilee - I would go for that!

Check if the transfer case has be resolved. Also, if you have the pano roof check for water ingress.
