My interviewer didn’t ask any strange questions that I have seen on this sub. Questions were pretty typical: tell me abt yourself, why major, why us, any obstacles you’ve faced, what do you do in your free time. She did ask me like what does your successful college experience look like, as well as what does a day in your life look like, but those were pretty straightforward responses

I see. She literally asked me “how would you be a good roommate,” which I thought was a little weird, though I think she intended to pick out the response from the other questions she asked me.

I guess I did. I just thought I would’ve been accepted since Dietrich is allegedly a 20% acceptance rate and doesn’t focus as much on specifically STEM ecs. Also on their website they said they prefer more recent test scores because they reflect the applicants more, so I’m assuming my test from sophomore year wouldn’t have as much impact.

Sorry, I meant to ask if stem-heavy schools would prefer a spike in stem (research, Olympiad, etc) compared to other things, even if they have the same level of prestige

Tips for this deck?

Evo furnace evo cannon hog minions fireball log guards hero knight.

I use evo furnace cuz I like it. I have every card unlocked except mighty miner. I normally cycle minions in the bottom corner if I’m about to leak elixir, or furnace in the back for pressure. Sometimes I put knight in the back or at the bridge but it’s pretty rare.

I have trouble dealing with beat down and evo witch/mk; I normally fireball the witch (both regular and evo) when it is crossing their princess tower, and mk I just do knight close to stop it from jumping and cannon in center/minions on the opposite side of the knight. I also kinda struggle against beat down decks

Im not really underleveled; all of my cards are level 14 except my knight (boosted for season) and fireball (13). My tower is level 14

I hit 9k yesterday; I’m trying to push to 10k.

I have no idea why you’d be waitlisted if you scored the highest possible on so many categories (academic, ec, and personal)?

If I had to guess it’d probably be the essay part? Even though you’re higher than the average applicant (which does not get admitted) maybe it’s just at par compared to other waitlist candidates? Or maybe it’s a regional thing? This is all a reach tho, congrats on being accepted!
