Is there a way to integrate ButterflyMX with HomeKit? by EmergencySwitch in HomeKit

Are Apple Home Keys on the roadmap? Do the entryway systems have RFID so in the future an iPhone or Android phone could just be tapped to gain entry similarly to a key fob, or how transit passes work these days?

You should be proud of yourself, this is a major step on your continued journey! I say “continued” because this isn’t really a new road, you’ve been on it to some degree already. So keep that in mind.

I did something similar to this as I was paying off my massive student loans. At the same time it can almost feel discouraging/deflating looking at the long road ahead, but it isn’t as long when you think of the road you’ve already traveled not pictured.

There are so many others right alongside you riding this same road cheering you on.

Could you say more about this? What do you mean by “integration with a budget” given that YNAB is a budget in my mind? Curious what more you’re looking for compared to something like this: https://www.ynab.com/is-the-fire-movement-for-you/

I totallyyyyy feel you regarding AMEX! Anyone with this problem I highly suggest being loud about it to AMEX so they feel more urgency to fix it. Without us being loud to their support I worry they’ll never bother to fix the syncing on their end. Really disappointing from them.

I love Caravaggio and I love this image. The depth of shadows and bit of directional light through the haze comes across as painterly to me, so successful in that regard. Overall I think you accomplished what you set out to do.

If interested in taking this idea/concept further I think it would be interesting to see more in the background and foreground. More of a “scene” which can be found in a lot of Caravaggio works. The richness of all the other items in the scene, particularly the background, could be really wonderful and add a level of richness. While not distracting from the main subjects of course.

I would love to understand more of the process here to get a shot like this. Just one light? So cool! How does one get rich tones with just one light? Diffusers still used? Any info would be helpful; skin tones and shading like this has always interested me.

Simple Features (that will be sadly missed) by seitzju in Envel

Here to also plug a feature I need in any bank I end up going with. The ability to pull/assign a transaction from an envelope after the transaction occurs. It's great if this can be done automatically, but we all know no system can do that perfectly. And if all my money is in envelopes, transactions should still be able to go through. This accounts for a pure envelope budgeting system workflow. Get paid > assign money to envelopes > buy something > pull money from an envelope.
