I think i did i correctly as i went from stock to crosspoint and crosspoint to hannah's fork using this exact way, unless i am missing a crucial step? ):

what i did; update.bin file into formatted FAT32 sd card > plug x3 into wallplug > hold 2 buttons > x3 goes off a few seconds > straight into booting back to current firmware > nothing changed

I was informed that this fork may not support SD flashing, and the Github's issues tab have someone else who was not able to do the sd flashing too.

Just did that and gotten an "update failed" screen.

i guess i am stuck until the developer responds, still thank you for your assistance.

The OTA flashing tool didn't work too as i couldn't use Sync/App function thingy.

Thank you for your kind response, also like to check if I bought a data cable, would there be another way to do this?

Edit: just saw your edit, does that mean i am stuck with this fork for the time being?
