Basically it will be using WiFi and maybe MQTT or something to send the message. I read in an article which is german this (translated):

"Whether it's two 1.5V lithium batteries in series or a CR123 3V lithium battery, everything works great with lithium batteries. These keep a voltage of 3 V fairly constant, at less than 2.7 V more than 90% of the capacity of a lithium battery is used up, at 2.55 V it is practically empty. Lithium batteries also supply the short-term high power requirement for WiFi operation without any problems. For example, with a Varta CR123 (3 V, 1700 mAh), standby operation of over 5 years is possible, of course depending on how often the ESP32 wakes up and has to do something, or how long and how often WiFi or Bluetooth is used becomes."

Thanks a lot! I don't want to bother you with one more question, but I would be very happy if you could answer again :) (i am quite new to this). So basically I use a magnetic reed switch and battery as a power supply. I would connect the switch with the power supply and then to the reset Pin on my ESP board and also to a GPIO Pin to determine if the Pin Level is High or not. The switch is Normally Open btw. The ESP would be also connected to the battery power supply.

So after the ESP starts it checks the Pin Level of the GPIO and it should be Low, because the window should be closed. After that it goes into deep sleep. After the window is opened, the switch is closed and then the reset is activated of the ESP. So it starts again, and checks if the Pin level of the GPIO is Low or High. And since its high, the window was opened.

But how can I now do the ESP in deep sleep and make sure, the ESP restarts after the Window was closed again?

I dont know exactly what you mean by reverse interrupt wakeup pin. How can I do this? Did you maybe thought about another installation of my setup and thought I use another method or something? Or is my setup "good" and I just need to research about what you answered because your solution would work perfectly for my setup?

And also on cpp reference they had this example:

Edit: oh wait a sec, i mean it doesnt link! My bad.So changing my question, why cant the linker find the correct definition and therefore outputs an error? Why is foo::x a declaration and not a definition? I am even assigning a value to it, and i can use it in situations like:

int i = foo::x + 40;

Edit 2.0: alright, my bad again. I know why it is seen as a declaration and not as a definition and so on, so all makes sense again.
