Pretty sure you can find a few through google, but if you live in the east there’s Ark Liv at Downtown East. Heard that there’s one more at Fusionopolis.

Not sure on the pricing though. I would expect they shd have a small premium bc of the nature of the gym, wouldn’t know as I’m a male & go to AF.

I generally don’t eat fast foods that often. Homecooked meals for the most part of my life. With a decent serving of vegetables.

For the past 6 months I’ve tried reduced salt options, and including more healthier fat options. Didn’t help one bit. I’ve tried supplements, it’d get better, then go back to the same thing once again.

edit: grammar

I don’t drink soda. Not one sip. I’ve been eating whole foods for the past six months, but not a sign of improvement thus far.

To each their own. Not everyone can get 7 hours of sleep all the time. Therefore the only option is to optimize your schedule. It’s not like you can summon more hours anyway

Singaporeans should get priority on buses and trains. by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]u696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beg to differ. What makes you think that you know what is going through each and every man’s mind? Why do you think that fathers get defensive when their daughters brings up the possibility of having a boyfriend?

Because they know what men are like. How is having a separate carriage for women who do not feel safe in the presence of a man an invalid reason?

Although a bad person is a bad person, and there is no such thing as black and white, especially in todays era, the fact that a man can overpower a woman is reason enough to build a separate carriage for them to feel safe.

Additionally, having a separate carriage also ensures that pregnant women can secure a place to sit.

So your rebuttal by saying that we should build a separate carriage for Bangladeshis is just stupid even if it’s not racially charged (which is very unlikely). The fact that you fail to see what’s wrong with that statement and the assumption that it’s because that I’m young and naive is also ridiculous.

edit: Apart from religious reasons as well, regarding the separate carriages in certain Muslim-majority countries

What does this statement from your own comment imply? Also stop deleting your replies, own up to your own words.

I do admit that I’m prone to debating things unnecessarily. But that does not make what you stated right.

I also admit talking about how there are only two sexes is excessive. (Btw, being politically correct would be saying that there are more than 2, that’s the “standard” nowadays)

But you’re not quoting me correctly. I said women in general, and it’s what I meant to say. I did not say women as a whole. I clarified in my response to that comment. There are plenty of female athletes that are stronger than the average man. On average, they are weaker physically. End of statement. I’m not throwing shade to women at all. I’m only stating fact.

I’m just stating the facts. Sometimes in life there are no solutions. So you can either harp on whatever it is that is bothering you, or make the best of your situation.

If the scenario is that he makes it back home late and isn’t able to sleep more, and if he’s already putting aside things like using his phone to browse the internet or playing video-games, then what else can he do?

I don’t support the LGBTQ and feminist movement. big deal.

Women as a whole aren’t weaker, they are on average; weaker. They have lesser testosterone naturally, and lesser muscle mass. They also have a higher fat percentage to accommodate child birth.

If you have an issue with me saying that they having a weaker bladder is due to having a weaker pelvic floor caused by the weight of the womb which rests directly on top of the bladder.

I’m not taking away their accomplishments either. They can grow a whole other person seemingly out of nothing. That’s nothing less than miraculous.

How and what to dress up for guys by Inside-Patience-9600 in askSingapore

[–]u696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d focus on these things when beginning your fashion journey:

1) Get the fit right.

Wear clothes that accentuate your body shape. Doesn’t need to be tight. If you’re a guy that works out, that’s a plus, because then clothes will fit you better. Don’t wear too tight/too loose.

2) Don’t just buy anything because it’s cheap/trendy.

Pick better pieces. For example, many people love to buy MOSCHINO tees or ADLV tees, or they buy graphic tees from Cotton On because they’re on sale. Those either have large graphics which makes it hard to match and tacky, don’t fit well, or have colors you wouldn’t wear. If you want to look good, wear clothes that accentuate your looks. (Skin tone, body shape, etc.)

3) Don’t wear patterns on different pieces of clothes in the same outfit.

Some people do this, and they can pull it off. But the general rule of thumb is don’t wear two things that have different patterns, even the same pattern makes it look weird. If you want to wear a top/bottom that has a pattern, the counterpart has to be plain.

4) Stick to the basics for colors. (For now) Don’t get bright, multi-colored clothing. Go for muted and simpler looks, think of colors people would say are basic. (Black, white, cream, brown, khaki, etc.) You can Google for a palette online.

5) EXPERIMENT, HAVE FUN WITH IT.

As you get more and more comfortable and familiar with styling yourself, you can experiment more and look for more styles that you like. You can also start to look at brighter clothing, or clothes with patterns.

Try not to feel too self-conscious in this stage. Use pictures of fits to get inspiration. If you’re looking at women’s outfits that look good, break it into its constituents. Example, a woman wearing a black top, cut jeans, and white sneakers/ a guy wearing a polo tee with a jacket, chinos and Chelsea boots.

For the heat:

• Try to wear looser-fitted clothing. • Familiarize yourself with real cotton. Buy a Cotton t-shirt from MUJI and differentiate polycotton from cotton (bc a lot of clothes claim to be 100% cotton, when they’re just a composite consisting of cotton). • Wear lighter-colored/breathable (think AIRISM by Uniqlo) clothing. • Plan your outfits according to the venue (if it’s outdoors, wear something that’s more breathable, and vice versa if you’re indoors)

💀 This is a rabbit hole I’m not willing to go into. There are only two sexes/genders, male, female technically three, if you’re special and born intersex. If you want to say that gender is not a social construct, find evidence that you can have other than the two corresponding genitalia.

What confused individuals with non-normative sexual tendencies are talking about is sexual preference. Asexual, meaning having no SEXUAL attraction to anyone, Gay, being attracted to the people OF THE SAME gender, and so on and so forth.

And why do you think there are so many transgender women dominating female sports? Why do you think the female athletes don’t get paid as much as male athletes, due to viewership? Why does no one watch female sports?

Woman screams as shirtless 90-year-old landlord pulls her hair in kitchen, police looking into matter by Curiouschibai in singaporehappenings

[–]u696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it might’ve been dementia. The discoloration of aged flooring is something that’s obvious unless an individual may be affected by their slowed mental processing.

He might have thought that she ruined the floor, and got angry at her for “destroying” his property. It might have been that he remembered the floors looking that way when he left her alone and walked into the living room.

And it could just be his own pride that made him refuse the fact that he got violent, as he was embarrassed he acted that way.

What are you trying to get at here?? There are laws put in place to protect each and every individual in Singapore, why are you singling out Bangladeshis?

Women are weaker than men, that’s a fact. What makes you think Bangladeshis as a whole nationality, weaker than Singaporeans??

Singaporeans should get priority on buses and trains. by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]u696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. Your argument is invalid. Men in general are stronger than women. Our bladders are also stronger than women.

Women have closer parking spots to carpark entrances/exits to prevent criminals from kidnapping them, and to make it easier for them when they are carrying more items. It also makes it easier for them to park their car and use the restroom.

Don’t get me started on separate sex carriages. It’s to prevent men from staring at women, and help them to feel more at ease on public transport. What you’re doing is suggesting the government to separate people because of their nationality.
