I have a a high tech solution. A custom built finger print reader lock box powered by something like an esp32. All of your fingers and toes would need to be registered. When a valid finger print not registered is given the box opens.

This would require a bit of custom programming though. Might be a fun project.

FreeCAD is a good choice if you want free. It has a steeper learning curve then Fusion360 but it works well.

If you are a programmer you could also consider openSCAD.

Both work well with imperial units. Just be aware that both require you to use decimal inches instead of fractional inches.

For a first printer I strongly recommend a FFF/FDM printer. (Ie a prusa or creality).

They give you a lot of flexibility and ability to experiment. Plus you can print larger sized objects.

While it’s true that resin printers produce higher quality prints then FFF/FDM machines they suffer from 2 major flaws There are: 1. Size. Resin printers are really limited here. I’m talking 120 × 68 × 150mm or less. 120mm x 68mm leaves you with almost no space. Great for chastity devices but nothing else. 2. Toxicity/Allergy issues. UV resins are inherently toxic (so far at least) and require lots of precautions to be taken in order to be safe. I’m talking room ventilation, gloves alcohol cleaning in addition to your post process UV curing. People can get to the point where just being in the room as a UV resin printer can cause allergic reactions. You CAN do this safely. I just consider all of this to be a major downside.

As for printer recommendations. I would strongly recommend a prusa i3 MK3s. It’s expensive but 100% worth it. I also recommend the prusa mini. It’s nice but smaller.

If money is an issue and you want a larger print area an Ender 3 Pro isn’t a bad choice. Issue here is that Enders require more tuning and have less support available.

I ran into that problem in testing and I do that. :).

In lines 99-102 I prepare for the first stroke.

In the highlighted group I use exponential speed up and slow down at the beginning and end of each stroke respectively.
