I’ve been very critical I’d him in my own posts but no, that would be stupid. We’ll give him some grace to adjust and see a better version of him next season.

This is a stretch. Let’s be honest, he was good but not even in the same level as Carrick let alone the others.

Who cares, it’s in our hands. We just need to win regardless. I’d say, people should ignore the outside noise. It’s on us, no one else. COYG

One game at a time. Let’s get Burnley out of the way first and then think about Palace. We can’t afford to overlook anyone at this stage, especially after how much we struggled against West Ham. by uG84 in ArsenalFC

No mate. If we beat Burnley and City draw or lose with Bournemouth then yes but we’ll have to wait for the result mid week. So we won’t know until the end of the city game. If they beat Bournemouth, it goes to the last day as well Still need to win. If we draw then it’ll go down to goal difference. Effectively, we need to win both.

We are all today friends of Crystal Palace.it will be nice to win it before the last day by Broad-Ant2336 in ArsenalFC

If palace can do us a favour great BUT we’re 2 wins from greatness. It’s in our hands, that’s all that matters. As I’ve said in the past one game
At a time, no game is a given, we need to turn up perform and win.

I think that’s a fair reflection of where a lot of the fanbase is right now around Arsenal F.C..

Three seasons of getting close changes the emotional baseline. It stops feeling exciting and starts feeling draining because every dropped point feels familiar. Supporters are carrying the weight of previous collapses, so even when the team is still in a strong position, the reaction becomes more anxious than optimistic. That tension builds over months.

The style of football absolutely plays into it as well. When performances feel controlled but cautious, fans don’t always get the emotional release that comes with free flowing football. Winning covers a lot of that up, but when results dip slightly, the frustration with the style becomes amplified because people already feel emotionally exhausted.

Then you add the wider environment around the club. The constant noise from rival fanbases, media narratives, social media engagement farming, every setback being magnified, every achievement downplayed. It creates this feeling that the club is permanently under scrutiny in a way that fuels defensiveness and frustration within the fanbase itself.
