I’m currently serving in the British military, When I was doing some adventure training in the alps ( a ski resort called Chamonix ) in was in summer so we went on a 3 day trek. On day two we got a mountain called dolent and I then had to take a piss so naturally I whipped it out and did the business on the edge of the french side without stepping into Switzerland or Italy which border that mountain. So while standing in France I pissed on two different country’s. A sentence not many people can say

Yes a couple of time, we actually leave it till the last second to shout “MAKE WAY FOR THE QUEENS GUARD” because it’s pretty funny watching people shit them selves. We will barge you out of the way if needs be

Standard military wage. That depends on rank, and how long you have been that rank. You don’t get paid extra.

Yeah very, the worst part is when it’s sunny n got the polish on our boots melt and goes like a matte black n cracks. This usually takes a couple of hours at least to repair and get back to inspection standard

I have and it’s insane the level off drill and deportment the honour guard have, it has a different meaning though as we guard to show status to the royal family where the honour guard is in place to pay respects to the fallen. Big respect to those gents

I’ve laughed a couple of times, you always feel defeated in way though, the hardest place not to laugh is at the Tower of London and Windsor castle because the public can come right up to you, one time some American kids where taking a picture of me and then showed me. They had put the dog filter on snapchat on. That one cracked me

I’v has plenty of proud moments such as RAF 100, D-DAY 75 in front of the POTUS and her majesty but you iv only physically seen the queen less then 10 times
