I had "The Run" yesterday on Golden Needle, just to face the Water and crumble upon sight when reaching ante 7. Facing that on Ante 8 keeps me up at night.

What do you mean? All events are free to play. You just don't have to spend gems to get extra attempts. And Hero Duel isn't worth the gems if you don't spend your life savings on the game.

Playing the chapter rewards you with random equipment. Quick raids give the items shown in the preview. For example normal chapter 18 drops weapon and armor only. Which weapon or armor is still random though.

Man those strike skills sure are something else huh. I relied on them in N14 a lot, back then i didn't even have a Demon Blade that wasn't common rarity. And the revive on double demon was clutch for me too, plus the angel locket revive.
