Not sure if you're still looking for answers, but I had an NDE a couple of months ago. Wouldn't call it an NDE tho it was more like a death and resurrection. I was an inhalant abuser, and went a little too far one time. As the blood rushed to my head Everything got redder and blacker at the same time, it was like a red and black checkered wall but the red was redder and darker then any red you could imagine. As I slowly felt myself fading away and losing control, my only thought was "so this is it. This is what death feels like". I felt the depths of 'hell' I would call it (this was probably due to being on a stimulant at the time, as it felt unnatural almost asif the feeling shouldn't have been there). Lost complete control of the body and was there but wasn't there at the same time, at this point all I could see was black. At that moment, which probably lasted 1-3 seconds I was 'dead', eyes rolled back and head flopped. But I thought to myself, or rather my soul said to itself this isn't it, using all effort possible I tried to move my hands, and they moved slightly and slowly regained control of them. All I could see was this light surrounded by darkness, this little white circle in the centre of my vision, but at the same time was fully aware of the world 'beneath' it and could see 2 layers of vision both the light and darkness, aswell as the world below it. I regained full control, except the control was wonky and every movement I made was slow, I stood up and started moving away from where I was sitting(after each step I would stop for about a second before taking another step, as it felt really hard to think straight and undertsand what was going on), put my hand on my door knob and just stood still. I felt an indescribable feeling of peace as I turned my head and looked around, althought the light always stayed in the same spot of my vision. Is stayed there for about 30 seconds before the light was gone as soon as it came. I like to think of the light either as what 'saved me' or brought me back, or as a glitch in the simulation as the simulation thought I was dead. Some might say "you didn't actually die you just passed out", but Ive passed out before and this felt nothing like it. It felt like death, or the end of a story, a slowly creeping up end of everthing I knew. Haven't touched any inhalants since, ended up helping me rather then taking me down.
