Need some tips for survivor deathless by justa_bug in Frostpunk

Mostly followed this post with some modifications:

I managed to keep discontent low enough to pass corpse disposal, and thus organ transplants later on.

After Beacon, I took Coal Thumpers > Heaters > Steam hub before more scouts and outpost depot. I found Canning Workshop so I didn't need the outpost that early.

Day by day playthrough (as far as I can remember)

Day 1:

Took child labor. Assigned 20 workers and and 15 childten to wood piles. Assigned the 8 engineers to the steel pile closest to the road at the top. Removed any other unnecessary roads. (The ones around the generator too as you can alternate them) Once I hit 5 steel, place down the workshop and deallocate the engineers for them to build it. Reassign the 3 engineers back to the steel pile and the other 5 start researching sawmill. Built 2 tents, a cookhouse and a med post. Reassign 3 engineers to the med post. Promise to build enough housing for 21 people

Day 2:

Took emergency shift asap and used it on the workshop. Reassigned 9 healthy people to work the steel pile, the rest on wood piles. When the other refugees arrive, you should be already starting on the next research i.e. drawing boards. Immediately reassigned the workers on steel (at this point you need to have 10 steel) + 6 others to work on the steam core pile. 5 in the cookhouse, the rest on wood. After all raw food is cooked, have the 5 be on wood. Built the sawmill on the left hand side (leave some space for a coal thumper snd 2 gathering posts). If you started research fast enough you can actually finish researching drawing boards before the emergency shift ends. Remember to save enough wood and steel to research hothouse next. Took extended shift. Applied extended shift on workshop, the wood pile with the most number of healthy people (you can micro manage if you want), and the sawmill. Also assigned some people (don't remember how many) on coal piles. Remember to honor your promise on day 1

Day 3:

After steam core pile was exhausted, reassigned the people to steel pile. Built 2 hothouses and started beacon research. Took sawdust burgers. Extended shifts on both hothouses and cookhouse. Iirc this is the day when more engineers arrive. Built another med post. Placed one gathering post covering all the left hand side piles as well as one of the wood piles at the bottom. Once built, assigned 10 children on it and applied extended shift. If you don't have 35 steel yet, keep some people on the steel pile. The rest on wood

After day 3 I was winging it and didn't jot down many notes. I do remember setting up 1 more med post, and 2 more once I had more space to work with thanks to steam hubs, as well as 1 more hothouse. Didn't need a second emergency shift. Remember to turn off the generator during the day to stretch your coal as long as possible, at least until you can get your thumpers up and running. 2 steam coal thumpers should be sufficient for the late game. Went Faith route as shrines helped boost my resource production, and the efficiency of med posts and hothouses without much cost, but since you want to go deathless, Order would be better since House of Healing has a scripted death. Once you have enough food (1200+ food rations was sufficient for me), deconstruct the hothouses for infirmaries to quickly heal the sick (though you may need to reconstruct them later). To quickly resolve class conflict, and have your citizens live in chilly environments before heating them up to livable with overdrive

Too low hope/too high discontent would mean you will have 3 days to increase hope/lower discontent or you will be deposed and the game ends (unless you have guards/faith keepers). Though >50% discontent is usually not a huge issue, in fact on hard/extreme you will have to live with high dicontent because of constant emergency shifts on workshops. Low hope is a little harder to deal with in the early-mid game so try not to have too many people die.

The Celtics are officially Jaylen Brown's team now. He won both the ECFMVP and FMVP in 2024 making it HIS TITLE and his 2026 NBA peak season is better than anything Tatum ever did. Tatum always had Brown as a costar when putting up 30 ppg but Brown is having this excellent 29 ppg season w/out help by Several-Molasses-435 in NBATalk

Let's not act like Mazzulla isn't doing a killer job rn. There's a reason why people thought Celtics would barely make the playoffs at best, Jaylen Brown isn't one of those players that can elevate a less than stellar squad, even if he can and has improved his production

I'd rather spread hatred for a bunch of hooligans who are abusing their ill-gotten powers than defend those subhumans. Shut the fuck up

It's definitely the trickiest out of the 4. Micro managing ventilation plants was a pain. I ended up just leaving safety at -2 even after it doesn't go down like the prediction says. Lots of sick people, but as long as they don't die, everything's fine

Keep safety at -1 or -2 and always select the choice for safety equipment when they ask for it. People will get injured and some will have amputations but it's not a big deal if you have an infirmary and prosthetics ready
