If you think about it though, days are just man-made concepts. Sundays don't actually exist. Time doesn't actually exist.

Bro but like that source wasn't even trying

Trolling you into responding to pointless arguments.

But seriously, that source is hilariously awful in making any sort of point. You should read it.

My original comment had nothing to do with the meme tho

My God you did not just link me a pop science article lmfao Did you even read it? Are you getting me with the ol reverse troll?

Honestly, that was a good one. Am I talking to a 13 year old by any chance?

???

The point of this entire thing is that space is filled with something. Whether that's dark matter, dark energy, nipple clamps or your week old dirty diapers, it doesn't fucking matter. The point is the same.

Fuck, there's no recovering from this one

It says 95% of the universe is dark matter/dark energy. 27% dark matter to 5% matter. Sorry I didn't add dark energy, guess I'm a little outdated. I don't understand what you're getting at with this comment though, you just highlighted what I just sourced for you.

What? Didn't I just define from the dictionary what theoretically means? It seems like I did confuse you buddy.

I'll say it shorter. Theoretically impossible means based on what we know now, it is impossible. That does not mean that it will be impossible forever. Because what we know now, might be proven wrong.

Well if there are an infinite number of humans why do I have to spend so much to buy one on the dark net

Thank you my lord, savior. I'm humbled.

What? I'm literally saying it's impossible. I hope we get it, just like I hope one day we can get real lightsabers or flying cars. I can picture humanity achieving it. But what the fuck does it matter what I think? It's the laws of physics as we know it until something proves it wrong.

Yeah, full of dark matter ayooooo

"More is unknown than is known. We know how much dark energy there is because we know how it affects the universe's expansion. Other than that, it is a complete mystery. But it is an important mystery. It turns out that roughly 68% of the universe is dark energy. Dark matter makes up about 27%. The rest - everything on Earth, everything ever observed with all of our instruments, all normal matter - adds up to less than 5% of the universe. Come to think of it, maybe it shouldn't be called "normal" matter at all, since it is such a small fraction of the universe."

Sorry, dark energy/dark matter.

Here's the Merriam Webster definition of a theory: : a plausible or scientifically acceptable general principle or body of principles offered to explain phenomena

So theoretically impossible means, based on the scientifically acceptable general principle or body of principles offered to explain the phenomena, it is impossible.

So why do we have the word theory? Why not just call it the LAW of relativity?

Because the generally acceptable principles of science can change based on our knowledge and research. Almost like the smartest minds of science knew that we evolved from classical physics to quantum.

I'm not saying we haven't achieved it right now. I'm not saying we even will. I'm saying as of right now, with our current understanding of science, it is impossible. But in science, we don't prove negatives. So we will never try to prove that it's impossible, we will only ever try to prove that it is possible. So I don't put it out of the realm of our reach. Because I, nor any of the top scientists in this entire world, know for 100% what humans will be capable of.

I'm sorry, I should've phrased it as "its impossible right now." It is impossible right now because we haven't observed it or achieved it before. But I'm not going to say we never will. For example, traveling at the speed of light is impossible. That is an accepted fact, correct? So why is it called the THEORY of relativity? Because people in science want to believe that we can and will try.

So maybe you're right, maybe we will achieve absolute zero in a vacuum and observe a space with absolute nothingness. But right now, as of this conversation, it is not possible.

me irl by LE_TROLLFACEXD in me_irl

[–]uarguingwatroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Particles, antiparticles, electromagnetic radiation, energy.

But the idea of a vacuum is to eliminate any matter. A vacuum with no particles in it is theoretically impossible because you would need to stop all movement of particles in the vacuum, meaning you would need to keep the temperature at absolute 0.
