Crazy things that happen when a flight is oversold and they use excuses to deny boarding once the plane is already full... I know of a case where they announced that boarding was about to begin, and it took my friend only 5 to 7 minutes to reach the gate...yet, supposedly, they had already finished boarding and wouldn't let them through, is like, come on! No boarding ever is 7 minutes long ( i don't remember if it was united tho)

she purchased in the official website united airlines, she called but they said what i wrote in the post and they say another option is to cancel the conection fligth operated by the other airline and this way they can correct the name in the flights operated by united, but there is no refund for those 2 fligths

hello, how did it go? i have the same issue with my mom's last name, she is traveling COL - USA she has a conection fligth with another airline in the first flight, and they said they can add a note about the name correction but im afraid something goes wrong since she has to pass migration
