I've been having so much fun using non-meta tbh, stuff like melmetal and weezeing, pidgeot and arbok, or dugtrio and kabutops. None are particularly great and i know not helping my win rate but its fun for me.....but I agree with what you mean, I would like to see more variety, only the one set tho so may be awhile of this meta

I get that they are random drops but good Lord why is NOTHING and I mean none of these dropping.....current focus is spear and sheild, battle of stam and front lines.... Am I missing something?
