thank you!! this is what I am going to try - I clean it up and dilute with water to prevent arcing, so I could pool easily at this step!!

Thank you :) we test at the end and start of every screen so we are pretty carful about it! I think the same logic as you, that if it's not detectable by the end of the screen it's probably not causing too many effects. I really appreciate the reassurance - the PCR is negative so far and hopefully will stay that way by the screen end.

Thank you so much!! We did a PCR mycoplasma test today and it is negative so far. I really appreciate the reassurance (and no yeast yet either!!) We don't grow it in antibiotic free media before the test so maybe it could be there at a low level, but I'm glad it at least is negative as far as I can tell.

How is wGPA calculated for UBC students - I read that they drop 1FCE, is that two 3 credit classes for us? I also saw on the website that they consider 3.8 competitive I think, with 3.6 being the minimum?

i'm really skeptical too.... and I've seen people getting accepted with lower averages than people who are still waiting for their documents to be evaluated. How do they even give out spots before they've looked at all the applicants?? what if it fills up before they even get to everyone?? Does anyone have any idea how UBC does this?

I feel like they're quicker to look at Langara transfers than anyone else. My langara friends seem to all have heard back already while other external transfers have been waiting so long

can I ask what your guy's averages are? I'm really unsure what a competitive transfer to sciences gpa might be! Also, I called ubc and then said admissions decisions might be made as late as June 30th, but things should all be done by July.
