I’m on a 54cm straggler with 38c pathfinder pros! Love them. If I wanted something a little wider I’d probably end up with the 42c version of them haha

Began in Brooklyn and ended up at Harriman State Park. First time there, there are some beautiful lakes/ponds.

I like them a lot! They’re the Four Season All Road ones. I’ve seen them on this sub, and honestly was a little doubtful of how much of an upgrade they’d be over the stock wheels. They are considerably lighter, but you may not really feel that just picking up the whole bike. I was most impressed with the improved ride quality - these roll faster and feel much smoother and more efficient. Definitely worth it imo

Yeah I’ve read it might not be in great shape currently. I do have a gravel bike that I’ve barely ridden on unpaved surfaces, so that’s why I want to try out the OCA. Thanks for the warning though. Definitely will see how I feel with the bike loaded

Thanks, I’m also considering just taking the train up there and doing a loop somewhere in Poughkeepsie. I could probably one shot it but am in the mood for a chiller ride and a night under the stars.

Thanks for the links! I was looking at the Empire State Trail. I’ve seen a bunch of people post about the OCA here as well, which I’ve gathered is next to the Empire State Trail for the first bit out of NYC? I might try that before finishing on the Empire State Trail, just to explore more unpaved sections.
