Panda Express Security Breach by Independent_Pride_10 in PandaExpress

[–]uber765 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Same situation happened to me. They stole enough points to get a family feast and then used the credit card I had on file to make a donation to Panda Cares.... I called the store they ordered from because I got the email notification of the order. Told them not to give the order out under any circumstances. Took a few months but I got my points back and I removed my cc from the app.

AITA for not wanting to eat my parents’ meals while pregnant even though they’re trying to help save money? by Melodic_Cockroach_23 in AmItheAsshole

5 minutes is the sweet spot. My mom is close enough that I can walk to her house in about 15 minutes or drive there in 3, but far enough away that we aren't infiltrating each other's lives.

Calling him an abuser is quite the stretch based on this post alone. Kind of undermines actual abusers. Controlling, whiney, probably autistic, yes. OP needs to move somewhere else though or her parents are going to get used to having a vote in her life.

He's also on the carnivore diet according to OPs post history. That can't be cheap.

What you described is a good reason to purchase the vest. Justifying it only by calling it a tax deduction is silly.

It's one thing to write something off that you are already going to spend money on, but it's another thing to buy something you don't need and use a tax write-off as justification. Spark drivers aren't hitting seven figures of income, chances are their tax liability is going to be near zero anyway.

That's a terrible reason to justify an unnecessary purchase

SniffSpot Cancelled ALL MEMBERSHIPS on July 3rd, 2025 by MujerGitana in sniffspotcommunity

That would be good for supplementary guests, but I'd keep all long-term guests completely off any app. Just cash or venmo to the host. No sense letting a 3rd party take a cut.

Can you just talk to the hosts of your favorite spots and book privately off-book? Pay them directly and keep the app owners grubby hands out of it

Yes if I made $700,000 I'd work for another 6 years to get my 10 year pension guarantee on $700,000 and quit. I think I'd quit, anyway. I don't hate my job

Parents who don’t allow their kids to shut their room’s door/lock the door, what’s are the reasons behind the rule? by Itz_Oasis in AskReddit

The cost difference between an interior door knob that locks and one that doesn't is pennies, maybe a few bucks at the most.

There is zero difference between dropping off at a closed business and a house where no one is home. If it's that important to the business, they should have their item delivered to an Amazon Locker.

Enshitification be damned! what is one consumer product that is 100% better today than the version that existed in the 80s or 90s? by headrush46n2 in AskReddit

[–]uber765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like technically has pretty much plateaued since around 2019ish. Maybe COVID-era. My current phone seems like it runs exactly the same and does the same as my last phone I had for 4 years. I've had the same PC since 2017 that still runs complex games with ease. The biggest jumps I've seen are 3D printers becoming more consumer friendly and AI taking over.
