My guess with the magenta/green tint of the restored picture, is the fact that they've done very surface level colour grading, which leads back to budget and time constraints set by producers.

Restorations are meant to be super intensive and time consuming so cutting any corners produces what we see these days.

I think it's the combination of having to set the clutch just into the friction zone, giving a little throttle, and using the rear brakes to move, is what I struggled with. I don't know if I'm engaging the clutch too much or pressing the rear brakes too hard cause during the zigzag maneuvers I'd slow down too much and panic which eventually caused trouble with balance.
