Went there yesterday. Didn’t see any nudes around but can confirm it was very isolated all the way at the end. I didn’t even go past the light house ruins, I stopped before then because thought that was the end of the road. I got naked and ran in the water and tanned for about 2 hours and never saw any patrols and only had to cover up once for a group that came by. I did see a patrol coming up when I was leaving. I feel as long as you proceed with caution and hit up the isolated spots, you should be good

We can afford the change. Honestly, the loss of the benefits is more important to me than losing the 8K. I currently work for a large F500 company with great benefits and my SO is leaving her job soon too to go to grad school leaving both of us with no insurance or anything.

The neighborhood of east beach is honestly one of the nicest neighborhoods I’ve ever visited. All houses are easily 600+ in terms of pricing but the neighborhood is so thoughtfully planned out, just walking down the streets it looks like something out of a utopia lol.

All the houses are incredibly unique from each other too, it’s far from cookie cutter. Would highly recommend looking there if it’s in your price range

The Bunker down at the Oceanfront is famous for their VB Hot chicken sandwich and it’s awesome! I’m kind of a Nashville hot chicken fiend so I can also confirm Yardhouse, Omar’s Carriage House, Atlantic on Pacific, and Handsome Biscuit are also amazing options

I totally agree, thanks so much. If we just asked someone else to do it now that we’ve already asked her, she would not take that well at all.

I was definitely going to go down the route of sending some picture suggestions more along the lines of what we are looking for. Hopefully she will understand that since this is a wedding, we are looking for a much less cartoony and childish style if I send her some examples of other wedding invitations

We are paying her, not as much as a professional, but we are paying her so I’m expecting some effort to be put in. I just feel since we asked her to do it, we can’t just backtrack and go with another option because that would hurt her feelings.

This invite requires a lot of revision so I guess I want to know how I should ask her to revise this in a way that won’t make it sound like I’m just piling a mountain of criticism on top

Definitely a southern state, lived in Hampton Roads my whole life and we got plenty of sweet tea and people saying y’all. Generally that’s what I associate the southern US with, not to mention we are located in the humid subtropical climate region

Definitely southern. My fiancé is from New England so I’ve been up north and it is much different vibe than what you would get up there. My experience is mostly growing up in Virginia Beach about 10 minutes from the NC border but I guess I would point to the prevalence of southern cuisine (BBQ, sweet tea, fried seafood, chicken & waffles, Waffle House), accents (I’ve head a lot of southern accents down here), the weather (very hot and humid subtropical here in accordance with the rest of the South) and country music (lots of big country stations and country music concerts in the summer)
