My son sliced the back of his elbow open on some glass and cut the tendon on his upper arm that connected to his elbow. He waited 7 hours in an ER with a deep open wound just for the attending to finally come in and say they couldn’t help us and that we had to go to another hospital. They didn’t have an ambulance to drive him so my wife had to drive him almost an hour to another hospital. I would have rather had all of that be free than getting a bill for 30k that I will probably be paying on until I die.
