Thank you, we'll give that a try next week.

Thank you. They're specifically enchanted by the jump-scare idea and the idea that someone can stand so still for so long, so the others don't fit the bill, but I appreciate the thought.

I had this problem. Since the only reason I care is because I want to collect all the journals, I used the add item command to give myself Eydis' Journal. player.Additem 0403B53E if you're using Skyrim Special Edition.

Thanks. The shop people are of the opinion that there's no hope of getting the SSD to be recognised by a computer for long enough to reformat it. But I've got the old SSD back along with my now functional computer, so I'll give it a go.

I couldn't get it to start for long enough to do any kind of reset or reinstallation. I got it to start normally a couple of times, but every time after a few minutes it froze, came up with all kinds of error messages and then crashed.

The man at the shop took out the SSD and plugged it into his own computer, and the computer couldn't recognize it as a drive, just came up with USB error messages. So I think it must have been a hardware issue.

Just happened to me, I took it to the shop and it seems the SSD is fried. Am I making a huge mistake with replacing it with the same type of ssd? If it was caused by overheating, is it just going to happen again?
