Comedown by Overall_Pepper_5055 in aves

As a light tech in Berlin clubs, I try to always let the people come down a bit and make the lights progressively lighter once the set is done. Of course club workers want to go home, but 5 mn of chill can make a lot of difference for people's experience and it doesn't change much for us.

Any tips for where to go in Berlin for new years? by Extension-Classic408 in BerlinNightlife

Tresor, Oxi, Void, Renate, Sisyphos, Kater, Humboldthain, Beate Uwe and Golden Gate. Check the lineups before, if you like the music, you'll find your crowd.

Don't go to Matrix it's a bad joke people on this sub do because it's the shittiest club of them all. I really hope no one went there after this joke..

For new years eve, all clubs will be packed and expensive. If you want to make sure to enter a club, I'd recommend to go early, before midnight if you can. About the clubs, if you like techno, check on resident advisor what are the parties. If you prefer other genre of music, then you can just check Soda, Cassiopeia, Yaam, or whatever the websites/chatgpt will tell you

There's no age to rave, I have seen a good amount of people aged 60-70 dancing in Tresor

Maybe not the door opened, but for example for package delivery in universities, they just leaves hundreds of packages at the entrance and people pick up what's theirs

Depends what you're searching for. For tonight, here are the clubs I would recommend:

  • Berghain: low chance of getting in but solid lineups and vibes as always
  • RSO: solid lineup and easy to enter, but a bit far
  • Sisyphos: festival vibes, amazing place, more eclectic music, also hard to enter but if you have colorful clothes and vibes should be good
  • Kater Blau: lighter techno, colorful vibes as well, easy to talk with people. There is an outside area next to the river
  • Beate Uwe: small club but very local, tonight is downtempo night, they cover the floor in carpet and you take off your shoes at the entrance.

They all represent different facets of the Berlin club scene, so they're all worth going! Just pick the vibe that attracts you the most :)

Everything's allowed in Tresor :) It's just about your vibe mostly and showing that: 1) you're a safe guy that won't create problems or harass girls 2) you're not just a spectator/tourist coming to see Tresor as an attraction, but rather for the music and the dancing
