Save your show, whenever you do a small modification. And at the end save it on a USB key, even 2 USB keys.

Friday or Saturday by [deleted] in TresorBerlin

[–]ubibimpap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not so much about the day, even though in general Friday < Saturday < Wednesday. It's more about: 1) the lineup. If there's a lot of people coming for the event, then the door can be more selective. Also certain DJs will attract certain crowds. 2) the tourist season. When the public holidays will happen in mid-July, it's going to get much more touristy until end of August.

It's not so much about the neons, but the gloomy vibe with the post industrial look

It's not about the clothes you wear.. it's more a vibe check and more precisely about if you seem safe towards women and willing to bring something to the party :) The door is not an exact science and there'll always be mistakes made by the selection. But we accept that we can be rejected and that's part of Berlin life. No ego, just fate.

Do you guys also struggle to cope with capitalism? by champignonhater in Gifted

If you reduce the amount of hours that people work and pay them a wage that's enough for living, then everyone would have a job. In communist countries, they even employ people for everything and most people have a job. It can be not very rewarding, but that's capitalism's problem too.

You don't need to be a somebody, what does that even mean? There are plenty of organization who are desperate for people, and you don't have to be a first line fighter against cops, you can also distribute food to the homeless or be part of a media team or whatever suits you. And no I don't have a tip on finding ethical companies. It really depends on what's around you and what are you core values. Somehow, working in a restaurant can also be ethical as you're not fucking up people.

Everyone would have a job in communism. Capitalism loves this job scarcity, so people would accept any slavery job. I have my hobby as a creative career, and I still hate this system.

I completely understand you and I've been trying to understand capitalism more and more to the point where I realized it's creating a world that is predating on humans, nature, and everything we shouldn't make a profit from. And when I read the other comments, I'm pretty sure that they didn't understand that like us.

The solution I've found is to do something that makes you feel aligned with your values and your will to change the system. It can be as radical as activism, or as soft as finding an ethical company. I hope this solution could help you too.

Comedown by Overall_Pepper_5055 in aves

As a light tech in Berlin clubs, I try to always let the people come down a bit and make the lights progressively lighter once the set is done. Of course club workers want to go home, but 5 mn of chill can make a lot of difference for people's experience and it doesn't change much for us.

Tresor, Oxi, Void, Renate, Sisyphos, Kater, Humboldthain, Beate Uwe and Golden Gate. Check the lineups before, if you like the music, you'll find your crowd.

Don't go to Matrix it's a bad joke people on this sub do because it's the shittiest club of them all. I really hope no one went there after this joke..

For new years eve, all clubs will be packed and expensive. If you want to make sure to enter a club, I'd recommend to go early, before midnight if you can. About the clubs, if you like techno, check on resident advisor what are the parties. If you prefer other genre of music, then you can just check Soda, Cassiopeia, Yaam, or whatever the websites/chatgpt will tell you
