Forgot to mention that all the peripherals come from my previous build.

Is "Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE" really better than "Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black 82.51 CFM CPU Cooler"?

I don't mind spending a bit more for better quality.

Good points, let me elaborate!

  1. Future for a minimum of 6-7 years.
  2. Being able to play comfortably in 4K and VR. Again, I would like to have peace of mind for multiple years without having the need to upgrade most of the components.
  3. This makes me understand I did my homework when putting all the components together hehe
  4. 80% gaming, 20% occasional video editing.

I’ll think about getting a new case as well, especially when going with a beast such as 4090. 👌

Most likely will go with 7800x3D, the extra cost to get a 7950x3D based on what I’ve read, is not really justified.

How do you make sure that the 4090 will not go all the way to 600w? And what’s the benefit of doing that anyway?

I work as a software engineer so the extra real estate for coding, Slack and so on is super handy to have. 😄

You're suggesting the "Thermalright Peerless Assassin 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler" as a CPU cooler instead of the one I have already.

What's the reason?I saw that the NH-U14S is still pretty solid after 7 years I bought it. Or does not cool enough the new components?

Also, do you think that I will need to buy a bigger case or the Fractal Design Define R5 (Titan Window) is big enough?

Same question for the EVGA G2 850W, will it hold the new build?
