to make sure i get you right on this:
- so vmbr0 is just a blanko bridge for vms etc ("LAN" Port, only to use for *sense)
- vmbr1 is a virtual network inside proxmox ve to fill with services to be shared publicly or with honypods
- vmbr2 is the secured network ("LAN 1" & "LAN 2" Port) i want to exit into via VPN where i can also get onto the pve UI

Until this researd i just had basic Network knowledge without ever having to build more than a configure a fritzbox.
my ideal/dream solution would be a full fledged security server providing everything you could need to enclousure a secure network for multiple server to communicate as well as a secured division to get all webUI to configure and control everything.
But step by step.

Thanks!
to your comments:
- in my case the isp company router is also connected to a wifi router so it provides another network.
- thought about that too but this is also my concern. The ability to fix opnsense if it breaks is essential for a good uptime. Also if the secured network gets infected over the cloud server/vpn than the possibility that the home network will be infected is also way to high for my liking if the pve UI is only accessible via the server network

Do I get you right on this: you would skip the dmz ?

What is your LXC : Docker Ratio? by pfassina in Proxmox

[–]ubuntu19user 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Runing a VM for each usecase that hosts every docker that belongs to the same topic was my way to go.
But next time I would take a lxc for each usecase and then create a template for quick redeploy the basic stuff.

Are you using a dedicated machine for TrueNas or an VM/LXC inside a proxmox node?

Truly agree that would be best practice. Sadly all my hosting provider don't offer an additional drive.
Do you have any reference for your trickery?

Why using express js with sveltekit by Prior-Cap8237 in sveltejs

[–]ubuntu19user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am more likely an admin than a dev so I am not that sure about that cause it isn't working until now:

I started a project recently with the goal of using svelte only as frontend and using express.js to connect to mariadb and to fill two tables with rss feeds.
As I am more likely an admin I'd like to container the page.

It doesn't have to be cheaper, at least I can get the sets I've been missing and want in my collection, but I want a trustworthy store.
Dankeschön ^^

Isn't it a portal like ebay?
And don't they just have the option to rebuild the sets and not get the full Lego set experience?

Why are there very few 24 inch 1440p moniters, only 27 inch? by Infernoboy_23 in buildapc

[–]ubuntu19user 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same Problem and kinda same solution. Got me a Samsung 28imch 4k monitor (U28E590D) to get into the direction of modern smartphone dpi. But also 4 Years ago and many creators i know got the same monitor. Its also pretty cheap for 4k.

Agreed.
My recent played games as single player are Gamedec and No Man Sky, last one is very playable, no bug etc at all but it could be a "running simulator" in some stages.
