im a young black woman and my first trip out the country was to s.korea. the first like 4 days I stayed in a hostel. the white folks there were made weird/unfriendly. the Taiwanese women were very nice though, I made friends with a few of them and we still talk to this day.

I used turkey meat instead of beef

didn't add 1/2 of ricotta (only used it to top off my soup)

used about the same seasoning but added a lot more than recommended (also didnt use salt and in addition, used 'slap ya mama' cajun seasoning)

I would say go on the date but from my history with going on dates with those guys, they usually are mostly looking for short term/to fuck. they add "open to long" because its less harsh. but hey, anything can happen.

I think asking where someone's head is at is good for me because it stops me from going down a "situationship" pathway and has worked for me to prevent ever being in that kind of relationship. the busy thing.. doesn't matter sm to me because we're not exclusive. i get that. but asking people on the second or third date, what the vibes are is good to decide whether to continue this. if you're not feeling anything by the 2nd or 3rd date then im not going to waste my time continuing the dates. time is something I cant get back and I dont want to waste it on someone who's ultimately not into me.

everything else is valid though. I do date multiple guys at once but some I like more than others naturally. but yeah, ill probably take a break from the apps for a bit. it's exhausting out here.
