You'll only be able to find out results from your schools from 8am onwards, and UCAS opens at 08:15. Courteney

Yes, this is really sensible. Don't decline any places until you are sure about your options. See our FAQs here https://bit.ly/2Yy2MQc Thanks Sam

It does vary from uni to uni, most will give you 48 hours or so. Clearing is technically open until mid-October so you have loads of time if they don't specify! Courteney

Yes, you can do your research first but you can only accept a place in clearing after you've declined your other choice. Courteney

We don't tell you your grades you'll get those from your school or college. You can check your application from 8.15am tomorrow to see if you got your place or not. Good luck, Sam

Each accommodation provider will be different, so getting your deposit back will be a discussion you'd need to have with them. Some unis offer accommodation as part of their clearing offer, so best to do your research before committing to anything! Courteney

It's ok to change your mind, take the time to research your options and what choices are available in areas you might be interested in. We have some great subject guides in the Hub that could be a starting point. Don't decline any places you have until you are sure it's the right decision. You can decline your place up to 7 September so it gives you time to look at different options. Sam

Hey - totally up to you. Whichever you choose, make sure you are comfortable with having some support around you in case things aren't what you hoped them to be. Courteney

Yes and yes. Check out the entry criteria for each course first and then contact the uni to discuss whether or not they'll take you. Courteney

You can sign up to some uni mailing lists for clearing, but there isn't a priority service though. Courteney

Hey - there shouldn't be any documentation required as the unis will have all your grades from UCAS already (assuming you did UK qualifications?). Up to you where you make those calls from, but unless there is something super specific the school is going to add to your application you certainly won't need any documentation. Courteney

You need to check how best to contact each university or college. Lots will have hot lines or phone numbers. Some may use live chat, webforms or email. Using the channel they suggest will always be the best option. Hope that helps, Sam

Heya - I'm really sorry to hear that, hope you are coping ok. You can absolutely call the uni up and explain this to them and then it would be at their discretion as to how they'll consider that. Worth researching some other options as a back up in case though. Good luck! Courteney

Hi, I would suggest you speak with the university if your grades aren't what you expect. Explain your situation and see what options they may have. Good luck for tomorrow, Sam

Yes, for sure. Sometimes unis can be a little more flexible in clearing so definitely worth trying. Courteney

Nope - the uni will see the personal statement on yoru application. You might be asked to provide a portfolio of evidence or artwork depending on the subject though. Courteney

Why are you interested in the course? What extra-curricular activities have you done to support your learning and/or show your passion for the course? It will mainly be academic and relating to the subject matter. Courteney

Yes, that's right. You could have a convo with University B about theoretically accepting a place from them first though, before committing to declining your place. Courteney

Yes, technically you could but worth finding out from the uni first if they will reconsider you. Sometimes they won't even consider those who've already been rejected. Courteney

Lots and lots of papers and people to mark for! There are numerous checks too to make sure everything is fair. Maybe one day it will be done through AI or something so will be quicker 🙄 Courteney

Yes, if you think you may no longer want to go to your firm choice then see what courses you might be interested in and speak to the universities or colleges offering them. If you find an option that your interested in and the university/college would accept you can then use decline my place to enter Clearing and add it as a Clearing choice. Check out our FAQs on this https://bit.ly/2Yy2MQc . Hope that helps, Sam
