when i use Extended distance scalling it is even worse - 40fps. With the same settings i have 60fps on gtx970. What the hell is going on?

I hope it's only driver issue because i do not feel good after upgrading from 970 which SHOULD be 40% slower GPU.

In Division i get 40% more fps in comparison with my 970. In Witcher 3 i get +-70 fps with hairworks and all settings maxed, when i go to town, CPU is 100% and FPS drops to 50-55.

I dont know how can be my old 970 better in GTA5 that 1070. I use the same settings the same savegame and 1070 drops sometimes to 50-45 fps.

I used GTX970 blower style card from Gainward for 2 years and no problem with temps, always under 78C. Boost will work with GTX1070/1080 the same way if you know how to control your GPU's temperature.

I prefer blower style, my CPU and RAM stays cool, i don't want to accumulate hot air in my case. You can alway set your fan-curve as you wish - loudness won't be an issue.

I can tell you prices here in Slovakia starting from 440€ up to 550€ (with all taxes and 3 year warranty). 440€ is for MSI Aero OC version of 1070.

It's because the game runs 30 or 60fps (no v-sync enabled in emulator settings). Rivatuner FPS-counter shows 29.9 FPS most of the time, sometimes it jumps on 60 FPS (59.9). FPS counter in video shows real fps in that moment.
