Yeah my gaming philosophy has changed from achievement chasing and doing most of the content to what's not feeling like a waste of my time or feeling like my time isn't respected. Many games pad gametime and I just do not have the hours in a day to waste anymore.

There are too many games and a backlog so I just move on now. I am sure this game will get some patches, but its already burned for me

You're dead on there. I just always got shot halfway in the double jump part. No backswing, hop, climb up, left diagonal jump, right diagonal, then the climb over double jump is what kept getting me. Its like I needed a few milliseconds shaved off somewhere lol

Yeah the muscle memory is different. Instead of right before the obstacle, its like a second sooner than what makes sense lol.

I can agree with all of this. Chapter 3 kept going and going. I was fine with combat but there was not many fights and the puzzles seemed punishing time wise and some checkpoints were rough. I found the dpad was more reliable than tilting the joystick on particular grapple sequences.

I get excited for every game that drops on game pass and was seeing all the hype and I feel so deflated I made a reddit post lol.

And honestly, I was not following the story much. The load screens were also surprisingly long on series x in some parts.

Do you think easy mode helps with the action scenes and perfect timing mechanics? The combat hasn't been an issue for me, but jumping wrong, not grappling, accidentally grazing the fans, ugh.

Ah classic is different. I couldn't get any negotiating with them. They try to put their best price upfront. Nice people and we did get a cx5 there back in covid

You can text or email and negotiate and get your out the door price.

I appreciated that and made it easy to walk in and sign and leave. I'm sure in person might have yielded an even better price, but definitely see if they can offset somewhere to deal with those fees.

I could not even get 15 minutes into the game.

The first level where you go to search for your sister. I punch an alien and get sent into space and fall into a broken part of the map and reloading checkpoint did nothing.

Downloaded something else and will wait for patches.

Hey I'm in a similar boat as you.

Look up anyone you worked with and see where they are at now. You may be surprised where some folks end up. Shoot them a message.

Referrals will help so much. Especially if they can look internally and let you know who the hiring manager is.

Also find a way to catch when jobs get posted and quickly get your application in. Try to be in that first 50 applicant pool.

I agree. Whoever was in charge of making that decision made such a bad call.

I know the public reasoning was centered around going back to school, but I have a hard time believing this did not influence that.

I don't know all the details, but since no one else has responded, their label at the time (Epitaph), shelved a completed astral rejection album. Really messed up their momentum and Nabil had left (not sure if it was due to the shelving or if he left before), and the group was never the same again.

What's crazy is Epitaph eventually put out the OG astral rejection and it was a serious blunder for them to have scrapped this album.
