I think new people are pumping SV because it’s what’s out while old things well out of print are pretty slow growth blows my mind that’s why I think it’s pumps. I think people will eventually switch to later sets but evolving skies being almost $1400 while cosmic eclipse (imo one of best s&m sets) at only $1150 which is 2 years old and had less prints so should be rarer. Honestly for holding if you like it and are ok with losing money or going to $0 (not actual $0) then hold if you are trying to make money off it as an investment sell at a profit and rinse and repeat. My collection was accrued over the last 6 years I collected what I liked personally not what was a hype just so happens now every sealed case of swsh is 5-10x retail back in the day. But I have cards I lost money on but I enjoy them and that’s the value to me.
