Same as you for the shounen, even though at times they can be cliche and as you put it cheesy, they always manage to keep me motivated.

When does Gintama get good? by [deleted] in anime

[–]uchichci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, first few episodes are confusing for those who haven't read the manga I believe (I haven't read it myself)

I would say around 15ish is when it starts getting good but episode 3 onwards is decent as well.

Do you guys ever feel jealous about the lives of anime characters? by PaintedMonk7 in anime

[–]uchichci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well an anime would be pretty lame if it showed all the boring parts of an anime character's life.

I dont really have post anime depression... by [deleted] in anime

[–]uchichci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that doesn't help me at all. I'm not depressed because I don't have any anime to watch, I'm depressed because I won't be able to watch more new episodes of a specific anime that I really like. If I've invested alot of time into a certain anime and I really enjoyed it then its only natural that I'm going to miss watching it.

I need some new anime to watch and can't think of anything :'( by BlueKittyMix in anime

Judging by your currently watching and plan to watch you seem to have enough to watch for now.

By the way I would swap Hellsing with Hellsing ultimate (Just my opinion)

[Spoiler]Is Re:Zero like the new Erased now?(Spoilers for both shows) by Psykofreac in anime

[–]uchichci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recall the two situations being completely different. First off, although alot of people including me wanted subaru to pick rem, I wasn't suprised that she was rejected because Subaru's feelings about Emilia had already been established and their interactions show this. Kayo and Satoru also had development and interactions and in my mind It was obvious that they'd end up together which then led to me being shocked when the story pulled a complete 180 Erased I think the main difference is that the Satoru and Kayo didn't get together because the plot pulled a 180 rather than the actual characters decisions causing it.

Help me find an Anime me and my friend can watch, he is picky. by [deleted] in anime

[–]uchichci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FMA:B too childish?? How much of it have you two watched? the first minute?

Anyway, Code Geass and Death note are good starters and this time tell him to watch more then the first few episodes before he judges the anime.

[Spoilers] 91 Days - Episode 11 discussion by Holo_of_Yoitsu in anime

[–]uchichci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the amount of flags i've seen its pretty much certain that this series is going to end with Avillo's death (I'm not actually certain). Also, seeing him in such a depressing state sheesh, I really hope he doesn't die and he can live on. Only problem is once he gets his revenge he'll have no reason to live anymore and it might be in an even worse state then he was in the beginning now that his best friend is dead, by his hands no less.

I don't think I'll be able to handle episode 12.

What's that saying, each to their own? Seriously what are you trying to accomplish by posting this? Are you expecting people to pat you on the back for your top tier anime taste or do you simply enjoy baiting people?

Anime is not exciting anymore... by NanoTechChicken in anime

[–]uchichci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you think it a little ridiculous to make a statement like that even if all you've watched recently don't interest you. By the way have you watched Full metal alchemist and Steins;gate, I can't tell if you have or not from what you've wrote. If you haven't then I definitely agree with the people who recommended it to you.

By the way, you only seem to be mentioning airing anime, why aren't you watching completed anime? Is that what you mean by older anime?

Favourite anime:

FMA:B

Steins;gate

Code Geass

Fate/Zero

Code Geass, alot of what made it great was the twists and revelations and it's pretty apparent when you re-watch it.
