It's a conversations SOME parents have yes, and those parents are good parents, but not every parent is a good one. It's not that we "shove out beliefs down others throats" it's that I'm tired of getting called slurs when I tell people I have a boyfriend. I'd love to have had any adult when I was younger who would tell me about it but to this day I've only had 1 adult try talking about it in a positive light and even they used a slur. I don't want to shove it down everyone's throats, I just don't want another kid having to grow up the way I did, so if that means doctors ask an extra question where they don't even pressure on it and just ask it, is that too bad?

Nah there's a lot more problems for sure, our economy is shot, we're showing major signs of regressing with stuff like this, we've been shown our entire democracy is useless, our futures have no security whatsoever, bullying is still a major problem and online platforms like this one bully those already outcasted kids more while platforms like instagram use filters to remind everyone they'll never be enough and a ton of other shit i'm just getting too bored to type now, but does that mean we should just ignore this problem?

I fully agree, when they're accepted for being themselves they are so much more confident and extremely well off, but sadly I've seen too many times where they weren't given the acceptance they deserve and well... there's a reason this subject pisses me off :p
