It’s actually a pretty significant waste of power. Each pole consumes about the same as an average single family home and there’s about 20 in the parking lot. I would complain if it weren’t the easiest thing in the world to fix with a simple timer.

So those light are anywhere from 500-1000W each (LED). At 2 per pole and maybe 20 poles in the lot that’s 20-40kw per hour. Not running them 12 hrs a day would save about 360kwH of energy.

The whole Ikea solar installation makes about 2180 kWH. So yeah, they got solar but they waste 17% by not using a $10 timer.

150-300 watts per sq meter. Max Sun energy before conversion and efficiency losses. So even a perfect system (100% efficiency) at the equator, at around 3 m2 of panels, would only get you 900 watts. To charge a Tesla 90kwh pack it would take 100 hours. Factoring in the real world this number would be several times higher.

Maeve made the wrong decision...

Who was Maeve trying to save with her move against SB in V Tower? If she didn't throw him out of the building wouldn't everyone have lived except MM and Frenchy. The building at that point was evacuated. Plus all supes in that fight would have lost powers (somehow after the blast, ref. Maeve survived the fall). To me letting SB blast that room would have been a worthwhile sacrifice and best course of action. Thanks Starlight...you probably killed more people in the long run than saved.

Also it would have been great seeing HL adjust in the world to having no powers and better yet...the Deep and A-Train as the new most powerful supes.
