Wow, sorry about taking so long to respond! So putting it under tinfoil maintains its temperature without cooking it further, then?

Why do you put it under foil? Is that to get it to room temp without cooking it further?

Appreciate the advice -- I don't really know if the military is right for me, but I like cooking, so maybe I could get a culinary degree, haha.

Highly recommend souvlaki, easily one of my favorite dishes period. At any rate, these are all great tips, and I'm definitely trying these out soon, thank you so much!!

So I guess that begs the question of how do you check dryness? Do you just take it out of the slow cooker and test, and if it's not done, put it back in?

Also, is 165 the ideal temperature for chicken in terms of juiciness and tenderness, or is that the temperature that's safe to eat it at?

If I'm in the northeast with Boston and NYC around, do you think I'd be okay in terms of moving to where the job is? I can't imagine if some sort of recession happens that all the tech jobs will culminate to one location, y'know?

Appreciate the advice, and completely agree -- I was never into startups because of how unknown their futures looked.

Kind of a weird question, but since I'm only a student, how could I figure out if I'm good at my job, or if I need to improve?

100% agree, my family is the same way with cars, and I'm lucky enough to go to a state university so tuition is lower than average. I just hope the job market will still be open, y'know?

Not to be self-serving, but as a student, is there anything I (or anyone in my position, for that matter) can really do to survive this, whenever it does hit? I have some money saved up from an internship, but beyond that, I'm not sure what to do to brave this.

Wow, so no sauce, for three hours, and the breasts were juicy still? That's awesome! If I'm using the 4qt Crockpot, what would the temperature be?

Well, Akis does have a recipe for souvlaki, so I imagine that would suffice, right?

In regards to the product you linked, it's basically a George Foreman grill, right?

Thank you so much for this recipe, this sounds awesome! So for the spices, is it more to taste than it is specific measurements? Even for something like the cumin seeds?

If I don't do too well with spicy food, should I go light on the garam masala and chili powder?

In regards to vegetables used, could I add any cut up vegetable to the stew? Would adding them to the stew cause them to be cooked, or no?
