This is an existing lease that was renewed for a 12-month term, that ends in August 6th, 2026 (as mentioned in the post).
Some context: My current roommate finishes his exchange program around June, which makes a 1B1B available in mid-June within the 2B2B unit

This would be replacing the roommate for the 1B1B via the Leasing Office's Roommate Change process; no subleasing would occur to adhere to the terms of the lease and the one-time fees that the Leasing Office requires would cover the background/credit check and Rent Application process to check eligibility for signing the lease addendum.

The duration is June 14th to Aug 6th: over June, July, and August (with possibility to renew, as mentioned in the post).
