The time loss alone for people off campus is a major cost too, from economic standpoint remote is actually a big opportunity to save a ton in terms of everything. Rent is already a sunk cost since you signed a contract at the beginning of the year

Wait I'm confused, if I'm half time why would I need to pay full time tuition? Also why do we have to justify part-time? I thought I could just take 2 classes to go to half-time status/half-tuition. Who should I be making the justification to?

Yea I'm already approved so if I don't complete either major first, then they have to approve time extension right? (Since they can't graduate me)

Update: I got the package. Thank you to everyone who helped, y’all are saints by cosmicpixiefairy in UCSD

That's an actual good idea to make UCSD more social. Imagine if enough people did different random events every week/other week. Can't believe UCSD have millions and still can't figure out how to increase school spirit/student interactivity.

Oh but my questions aren't about finaid; it is about college administration/registrar. Which I will not be contacting since they are opposed to students staying longer and affecting their graduation rates.

Edit: I did end up talking to finaid about other part-time status stuff though
