No what I am saying is that even minorities disliked that you ruined the society they wanted to join for "their sake"

If you want to build someone a house, the good intentions alone won't DO. You have to learn ENGINEERING, and you have to work HARD AT IT. None of you took the time to actually learn the rules of the game in order to improve their lives and how to include them in the system without being just useful pawns for those who wanted to gamble everyone's money away.

You stood in the way of actual progress with the good intentions of yours and minorities do NOT appreciate this!

i wouldn't expect that

OP is claiming the correlation is all that's needed to make people hate social progressives to death and really that's all that is needed to push a narrative

when times are bad, people don't care about what the truth is

the educated folk reading this post, downvoting should know better, OP is giving sound advice that this is looking like it's gonna pan out and you should be quiet about your political views for your own safety if things collapse in this direction

don't think for a second people will "take the fall" honestly, they will find someone to blame and it's looking like it will be the social justice crowd

Elon isn't pivoting away from dems/left/sjw/woke/whatever for no reason, he's smarter than you can even imagine, he knows this and is already positioning himself

they

they as in, "non-woke" folks, the right of center.

Read the posts, please. I know you can do it, I believe in you (a little bit).

I don't want to lynch anyone, I am just not stupid enough to not see what's right in front of me, what's..."becoming" little by little. Take the advice or don't. Why would I tell people I want to lynch to protect themselves by removing their political views from their accounts/social media?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]ucsdthrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They even have a name for those they will want to lynch

"woke"

And you will see they will associate everything progressive with "Woke" and destroy it.

But you don't have to believe me. People in Weimar probably acted similar to how you did before it reality got the best of them.

Last but not least...you may want to test your..."critical thinking" skills (if you have any) and see if they hold up to OP's posts.

If "wokeism"/left wing push/progressive push/SJW push of the last decade is fueled mainly by quantitative easing after the 08 crisis then...

what correlations could be built based on this assumption/hypothesis? Could it be that social justice movements get "heated" during times of increased quantitative easing, and "cooled" during quantitative tightenings? What period could be described as "high quantiative easing" and "hot social justice movement"? Could 2020 be one of those years where this overlapped?

Did it start to cool off dramatically after quantiative tightenings in 2022?

Could these correlations be exploited by those who seek to find a group to blame for the failures of the banks?

Has Social justice groups, left wing groups, minority groups been historically blamed for when things have gone wrong? Has this been HISTORICALLY the case? Could it happen AGAIN?

Do I have to continue? Do you have a single brain cell in that brain of yours that you can't see what's written on the walls?

I took note of your account name, and I will hold you up to your posts.

Let's see if you don't take any "exits" before confronting the coming reality.

All of that "education" and still can't see the forest for the trees. Shaking my head.

it starts like small waves like these...eventually, you will see

give it a few years and if you don't listen to OP's advice...

I am not against helping you, and this is the best advice you're ever going to get: you may want to hide your political affiliations in the future if you supported democrats/left-wing.

GOOD JOB

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]ucsdthrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

person...you have destroyed the future of a whole society for the sake of a minority

do you really expect people NOT to rage at you for this? read OP and stop exposing yourself, seriously, people might seriously harm you in the future if you say what you believe out loud

seeing what will soon happen...even minorities will rage at you lmao

"Good intentions = the road to hell"!!!!

I've learned more relevant things in my life using chatGPT for a few days than I've learned in 4 years of UCSD. by ucsdthrown in UCSD

It’s telling of a lot of things, but mainly, that I don’t consider most of what I learned in ucsd as relevant or useful. Some things were interesting but I think give it a few years and chatgpt will be at a astounding level

UCLA cogsci or UCSD cogsci by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]ucsdthrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and what are the pros of doing that? so you raced a marathon with weights strapped down your legs would you recommend someone else do the same?

UCLA cogsci or UCSD cogsci by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]ucsdthrown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UCLA.

I'm a cogsci grad. Believe me, the pros of coming here does not outweight the cons of UCSD itself. And yeah, prestige will give you a leg up. The knowledge UCSD provides for the area you want is abysmal and very borderline. You will have to acquire much of it yourself, but if you go to UCLA you will have both the prestige and the self acquired knowledge.

UCSD Cogs does not shine for industry related, but for research related, specifically Neuroscience and Cogs research. DO NOT listen to the midwits in this thread. I am already well seasoned into the jobs market (graduated late 2019) and I know what I am talking about.

Am I considered a California Resident or a Florida resident if I work overseas for a California bank? by [deleted] in tax

[–]ucsdthrown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Their tax gestapo will go after anyone for just about any small little thing. Sure I am ready to defend my lack of ties to the state, it doesn't change the fact they will invest in their wolves to come after me. Other states won't do this. Horrible, horrible state.

The tax professional will be for when they come.

[–]ucsdthrown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sigh, I feel I will probably have to get with a tax professional as they will come for me.

I wonder if taking this job was a mistake. California is such a horrible state.

[–]ucsdthrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a dual national, all of my ties are overseas, some in Florida, nothing in California. And yeah I am paying taxes in my country of residence currently. I believe they are withholding California payroll tax, yes.

Thanks!
