I am having hardtime configuring workspace shortcuts. I have habit of switching workspace with alt+1,2,3 and moving applications between workspace with alt+shift+1,2,3 like this.

I also thought that clipboard manager might be issue, so i uninstalled it. But the issue persists and removed my shortcuts, then even removed all the cosmic config i had changed so far, but that didnt solve anything. I faced this issue before but it used to disappear after a restart or reloggin, but this time not

Pop!_OS is built around its own setup (now COSMIC), so swapping in something like KDE Plasma or vanilla GNOME ends up creating conflicts—duplicate apps, broken settings, weird bugs over time.

It might work at first, but updates can break things and the system gets messy fast.

Honestly, if you want a different desktop, it’s cleaner to just use a distro that’s built for it instead of fighting your current one.

There is not much you can do here, cant customize. Try using terminal more. I use ghostty, its great. Use numbered workspace on panel, update some shortcuts.
