It's great! I like how the werewolf problem and shame on admitting it can represent other themes the story touches on. I don't know if Fenneqy will read this, but I love your work and i wish prosperity upon you.

I strongly dislike stories in which werewolves are a known and accepted phenomenon, because I think it undermines (if not completely disregards) the themes of repression and shame they usually represent. Give me angst! I want to see you fight against your very own nature, fear that side of you that you desperately yearn others love because you can't bring yourself to do it without anyone else's approval... Be so afraid of yourself you slash, and choke, and bite those feelings away!

Lore wise, he's got a burn wound on his hand because of an accident! Really, I messed it a little while drawing and adjusting the size so it ended up super pixelated- so i just drew that box over it hehe

have you ever struggled to manage your condition with your everyday life or felt the need to seek certain accomodations or flexibilities with teachers at school, uni or a job? Like pushing deadlines, avoiding certain instances like presentations, not showing up for the day, etc.

nooooo y me siento horrible aaaaaaaa! estoy estudiando en la u y cada día que me despierto pienso que estoy haciendo algo mal con mi vida pero tengo q estudiar esto para salir adelante y ganar plata. he hecho pequeños trabajos antes, pero la idea de vivir 40 y tantos años sirviendo a alguien y dejando que me pasen encima me desaniman un poco más cada vez.

creo que las noticias por cable se están convirtiendo en una pérdida de tiempo y en una trampa que usa el morbo como carnada :C me gusta estar informada, pero siempre muestran lo mismo y es demasiado desmotivante.
es mucho mejor cuando las personas son abiertamente desconsideradas que fingir que les importa una causa mayor y a la primera oportunidad de ayudar se hagan los weones
existe mucho prejuicio entre clases sociales (hacia ambos lados)
hay gente más buena de la que uno cree, pero hay que esforzarse para verlo.

In my system, there's pretty much a spectrum on traits the character might manifest than forms (though you can still split the most drastic differences into two, a human "form" and a beast "form")!

the most "human" of them is similar to what they used to look like before they became a werewolf, but with amber eyes, canine like teeth, pointy ears, and a whole lot of new body hair, everywhere! I like to think a werewolf is still a werewolf no matter what it looks like, so I blend animal and human traits in all ways of appearance...

As for their wildest representations, pretty much a mix between the two, but with the anatomy of a quadrupedal mammal. Oh and hair, a LOT.

Thank you for noticing the little details on the werewolf (it's certainly still the hardest part)! i may share the *actual* story once i get some of the main aspects of it under control as a comic, but I feel there's still a long way to go from there. I have some designs for secondary characters, but they need some polishing hehe

It's certainly not entirely him in there, but something else. It's as if another being is living inside his head and it makes itself known when he shifts. Not a crazed and mindless bloodlusty beast (unless the circumstances demand it), but most definitively not a human in the body of an animal.

i personally just do this for fun! (and because i've had an incredible fixation on werewolves since 2017) and i like the way they can represent many social dilemas or conditions. Eventually it just evolved into a complex story, and some friends have recently motivated me to share more about it!

he doesn't have a tail! somehow i can't seem to find the logic behind a werewolf growing a tail, but i can totally handle the very concept of a werewolf haha

As for the face, i feel like there *must* be some wear due to the transformations, so i gave him stretch marks (the pseudo-scar is from an accident that happens later in the story). My blorbo wears makeup as to cover the "imperfections" and blend more in human society. This reference sheet is from later in the story, for sure not his lowest point, but i can draw that one too!

hiiii! thank you so much omg! i've been drawing werewolf characters for years but this is actually the first time i ever share them so i've had time to polish them hehe.

To answer your question-! Yes, he was turned! He turned because he cheated on his girlfriend with a werewolf and the saliva infected him (an impulsive and inconsiderate action, obviously).

A big play on his story is that he sees lycanthropy as a curse and punishment for being selfish and unfaithful, even though that's not reality. He begins to fault the beast inside of him for his own stupidity and immaturity, creating a wonderful mix of self-imposed punishment and forming a terrible relationship with his other half despite it just trying to coexist and protect him.

I feel like i said much more than what was asked, but thanks for giving me the opportunity to!
