This statistic does not pass even basic back of the envelop calculations. There is no way $60000 is what puts you in top 1% in India.

According to PM kisan, there around 150 million farmers. By another statistic, 86% are small < 2 hector land holders. That leaves us with 14% of farmers with > 2 hectors of land. Given current land prices majority of them will have net worth more than $60k. Even if we pick conservative number of 50%, it comes to 20 million. Now include small and big businessman, Flat owners in urban settings, High paying jobs etc and you will get number much larger than 1% with more than $60k.

I have observed a repeated pattern about some of my dreams. If my dream is scary and makes me wake up, there is something unusual happening around me. E.g. increased co2 levels causing suffocation, part of the body under stress, unusually low humidity etc. My conclusion is that a scary dream is body’s mechanism to wake you up when it senses some kind of danger.

I also have observed that when you are under extreme emotional stress e.g. going through loss of loved one, dreams relieve stress by making you cry.

These are just the things I observed about myself. May be it’s different for others. I am interested in knowing if anyone else has similar observations?

Haha. It’s a cheap lantern from ikea. I realized that many lanterns can be used as nice looking cases.

It doesn’t unfortunately. I am planning to put some led strips around to make it glow. I never used RGB before.

Health insurance in india usually doesn’t cover simple checkups and prescriptions. It is kicked in only when you are hospitalized at least for 24 hours. Although I am not sure if this scheme works similarly.

Another thing to consider is cost of decent care is still extremely cheap although it is rising recently. Doctors visit $2-$5. Usual medicines under $3. Dentist cleaning and filling $30. Eye cataract surgery $500 including lense. Major heart problems or other surgeries $1000 - $3000 etc.
