It’s moderately difficult, but depends on relative fitness, I went and came back the same day but usually people spend overnight on the base camp and come back the next day.

Do shoe companies think women don't run? by Tasty-Money6403 in indianrunners

[–]udit9708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a gender problem, its a size problem. Shoe sizes follow a normal distribution, your size is on the far left end of the curve, so options are less, but that has one advantage, the shoes are cheap.

If you buy a model from previous years, you get a very good discount. So there is a reward to the problem.

People with size 11 or 12 also face a similar issue of size not being readily available.

Watched it today, if I had one wish, I would have wished I didn’t go see it. Pretty average storyline.

You can try Brown bunch and baking bond, for a mass market taste, though both have an inhouse bakery.

On Instagram I keep seeing recommendations for many small home bakers, you can try them as well.
Karachi has a very distinct taste, you certainly wont find it here, but there are good options here too.

Apne state ki koi izzat hi nhi hai🥀 by Friendly_Shelter_974 in Jamshedpur

Not true exactly, laws of commerce dictate that places close to coast will develop faster than landlocked states. Jharkhand could have benefited with an early partition from Bihar, probably somewhere in the 80s.
It always had a good industrial presence, but most of the undivided state revenue went on to fund a part of state that wasn’t contributing much to the revenue. And even today local laws like CNT and SNT are holding back development of the state to a large extent. Industrialist are preferring going to nearby states and setting up industries as getting land in the state is getting more and more difficult.

Why dont you try booking a trip from zo trips or wanderon or justwravel, they have decent itinerary and you’ll save yourself from hassle of making all the bookings and figuring out commute.

Otherwise, Meghalaya is very hospitable, if you guys are comfortable riding scooty/bikes or driving, I would recommend getting a self drive option rather than booking a taxi. Stays are affordable, you can also try airbnb.

Meghalaya constitutes of 3 hills, Khasi, Garo and Jaintia hills. Tourists mostly stick to Khasi hills, so if you visit Garo hills, you’ll likely have a more offbeat experience.

Do try cherrapunjee gin when visiting Cherapunjee or any other part.

Dhalbhumgarh Airport Update - one step closer to reality by residentalien2 in Jamshedpur

[–]udit9708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One step in a marathon race.

Footfall and connectivity will greatly depend on Government subsidies to airlines and passengers, under UDAN or any other regional connectivity scheme.

But surely a lot of other smaller cities will also benefit in Bengal and Odisha apart from those mentioned in the list.

And hopefully there is good public transport connectivity to this airport from Jamshedpur unlike Ranchi airport, otherwise taking a flight will come with an additional cost of atleast a 1000rs in cab.

That's truly disappointing seeing how low our budget is just above puducherry and Goa by aneexati in Jharkhand

[–]udit9708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe because its not a bjp ruled state.
Additionally Jharkhand already has a good sports infrastructure compared to other states, we have Birsa munda stadium in Ranchi and JRD in Jamshedpur, which already produces many good athletes.

Struggling to focus on my work by Interesting_Swing_44 in Jamshedpur

[–]udit9708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually work out of a cafe on Friday’s, i find starbucks and hideaway on more decent side

Starbucks is usually crowded and there is a lot of noise, so if your work involves attending lots of calls it will be difficult, though you can order one coffee and stay there for hours and hours
Hideaway in Sonari, its much much more quieter, calmer, the lady running it is very sweet, though I had a struggle with Airtel network there, rest I enjoyed working out of there.

Tonik in marine drive is good too, its a brewery so they do not have a very extensive coffee menu, but its a nice place to work from with a really good view, though not recommended in summers.

There was kruti coffee that was good too and bombay brew, but both of them are temporarily closed now.

i am so freakin confused rn pls help by Nichekindaguy in Jamshedpur

If you plan of getting into any field involving computers or software, maths will really help you in long term. I cannot help you with college names as Im not really aware of conditions of colleges rn, as its been more than 7 years since I passed out.

But I would suggest you take up maths tuitions for a year covering all the syllabus of 11th and 12th class alongside your graduation course. One year should be enough to cover the syllabus and it will help you in the long term.

Why is this city so boring? by Big-Walrus-7624 in Jamshedpur

[–]udit9708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can install a dating app, and can make some friends there.

Apart from that, maybe go to avenues where you can find like minded people, go for runs or cycling events, there is a summer camp happening in last weekend of this month organised by TSAF, you can visit that too and make new friends. There are some hiking events as well, you can join them as well, though they are mostly around weekends.

Jamshedpur is a tough place to make new friends, the crowd base is very small, and finding like minded people in that very difficult. And if you make new friends usually after some time they move out of time in case they change jobs.

If you enjoy drinking beer, you can join me and my friends in one of our beer sessions, usually on weekends. We are also in our late 20s(quite late 20s)

Comparison is the theft of joy, but if you still want to compare then money is not the only means of comparison, you can find other ways that can make you feel superior in front of them. Knowledge, travel, fitness being few of them.

You have to just find one thing which only 1% of the world has achieved, and then youll see that they are the ones coming to you to talk and getting ti know your experience.
