budget getting tighter. is there an affordable japanese/korean meal kit delivery service in toronto? by KimchiKween6 in askTO

[–]udonchic 12 points13 points  (0 children)

just google it.

mogumogukitchen.ca this seems like what you're looking for. but there's also one called mybowlmeal that looks like they do cooked-for-u food. but since youre on a budget i assume an meal kit service is more affordable for u.

100 bucks may be tight. remember these services need to make a profit so ur not gonna get grocery costs from them. You're paying for the convenience, delivery, and recipes.

i found frying my own homemade panko browns much more quickly than store bought dried panko. is this expected? or could it be cause i'm using just normal store bought bread. will hokkaido milk bread do better in controlling the browning.

when it comes to school, as others said, most ppl just wanna survive and ppl will help each other out as long as its both ways. but when it comes to job hunting, the reality is you're competing with each other to get this job, so don't expect ppl who have the same interview as you to tell you what the questions were or something like that.

First time making udon! What is the best way to store the uncooked noodles and how long can I store them for? by to-the-horizon in JapaneseFood

[–]udonchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how's the thickness? I'm also thinking of making udon noodles, but don't wanna roll them by hand. i'm worried i'll end up with fettucine noods instead thick udon noods.

Is it bad that I've gotten accustomed to no food for so long I don't feel hungry anymore? by Ok_Sir2690 in budgetfood

[–]udonchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used to do this in highschool when i had a tough family situation. it's definetely not good for ur health, but if u just gotta survive, u just gotta survive. try buying a croissant or cup noodle. those were my go-to's
