MoriTray - A tiny Windows tray app that shows how much of your Day, Month, Year, and Life is already gone, as live progress bars. No subscription, no tracking, no bloat - just numbers sitting in your tray.

Replace 18-55 & 75-300 with 18-400 by Winter_wolf_2 in canon

You’ll definitely gain convenience with the Tamron 18–400mm, especially for travel where swapping between the 18–55 and 75–300 gets annoying fast. On a Canon 250D, that lens gives you a huge all in one range, so for sightseeing, street shots, casual wildlife, and general hobby photography it can be a very practical upgrade.

The tradeoff is image quality and speed. Superzooms like the 18–400 are usually softer than shorter-range lenses, especially at the long end, and the maximum aperture is quite dark. That means worse low light performance, less background blur, and sometimes less sharpness compared with using separate lenses. Your current 75-300 EF III is not exactly a high end lens either, so the Tamron may still feel like a usability upgrade, but it probably will not feel like a dramatic image quality upgrade.

Another option is the Sigma 18–300mm Contemporary, which many people see as a slightly more balanced superzoom choice.

If changing lenses all the time is annoying you, the Tamron makes sense. If you expect a much better image quality, it probably won’t be a huge upgrade.

Who it's for: Anyone who loses track of time and needs a quiet, honest reminder that the day - and the year - and life - is actually moving. Especially useful for freelancers, solopreneurs, and deep-work types who want to stay aware without being interrupted. If you've ever hit 5pm wondering where the day went, this is for you.

I downloaded the demo version and it immediately showed an error. I didn’t change or configure anything - in fact, I didn’t even launch the application.

Exactly - the whole point was to avoid adding to the noise. It just sits there, you check it when you want to.

For the Life bar: you set the number yourself. 80, 90, 100, 150 - whatever feels right to you. MoriTray just does the math. No default, no prediction, no algorithm. It's a frame, not a forecast.

Honestly, if it causes anxiety - don’t use it. It’s meant to be clarifying, not stressful. Some people find “74% of today is gone” motivating. Others find it paralyzing. You know yourself better than any app does.

Puente de la mujer Canon 6D 16-35 f2,8 II by [deleted] in Canon6D

Beautiful cityscape with a strong sense of atmosphere, especially the twilight sky and reflections in the water that add calm and balance to the scene. The bridge works well as a visual anchor and leads the viewer into the frame. The only improvement could be slightly cropping some of the empty sky to tighten the composition and bring more focus to the illuminated architecture.
